Carmen Miller,

Carmen Miller is Vice President of Client Relations at Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based McKinley Insurance Services where she has worked since 2001. She is responsible for the servicing of the firm’s Group Benefits Division and oversees open enrollment, new group implementation, customer retention, and business development. 

She has more than 25 years’ experience in the health insurance industry and has implemented employee benefits plans throughout Florida.  Prior to joining McKinley Insurance, Carmen was a Senior Group Benefits Representative for HIP Health Plan of Florida and has held positions with Family Health Plan, Humana HealthCare Plans, and Health Plus/New York Life.

A native of Washington, D.C., she attended Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland and holds a health, life, and annuity license in the State of Florida.

Ms. Miller’s extensive community involvement includes serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Lighthouse of Broward where she has volunteered since 2009. She is also a member of Leadership Broward, the HR Florida State Council, and the Human Resources Association Broward County (HRABC). She chaired two regional conferences for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) that provides education, training, and development for more than 1,000 human resources professionals in Florida.           

In addition, Carmen Miller is a past nominee of the NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Bravo Awards, “Spirit of the Community,” and was named the Volunteer of the Year by the HR Florida State Council and Board Member of the Year by the HRABC.
