Jim McKinley is recognized as a stellar businessman. He has received many awards for his entrepreneurial excellence, earning him a place in the Nova Southeastern University Entrepreneur Hall of Fame as well as the Junior Achievement of South Florida Business Hall of Fame.

McKinley is a former championship-winning college and professional football coach, and athletic director. During his 22-year coaching career, he inspired and challenged a generation of young athletes.
