George Wilkes enjoyed several successful careers before joining McKinley Financial Services in August of 2007. Mr. Wilkes' diversified education, combined with his public and private sector experiences, qualify him to provide meaningful assistance to McKinley Financial Services' clients in accordance with the company motto, "Service is Our Specialty." George's professional career began asa field representative for General Motors

Acceptance Corporation. This was followed by positions with the Allstate Insurance Company as a Casualty Claims Adjuster and the Campbell Soup Company where he developed personnel skills. Those skills were sharpened and management skills were nurtured in positions in the Office of the Mayor of Gary, Indiana and the Gary community at large. George also served the Federal government as Director of the local Census Bureau in the Gary district office.
Subsequent to his government service, George established a full-service real estate firm that brokered sales of both commercial and residential properties, real estate appraisals, and property management. George is a very strong believer in fairness and conducting business with integrity. In fact, he brought a lawsuit against a group engaging in unfair practices and prevailed without going to court.
Mr. Wilkes brings this same commitment to integrity and ethical business practices to his position of Vice President of McKinley Financial Services where he is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company's Orlando area office. George is in charge of hiring and training sales agents, keeping them up to date on legislative changes in insurance law and protocols, and overall management of the office.
George received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, Michigan and his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
